Last week, our team at Monad Solutions had the privilege of attending the ISM 2024 Conference in Colorado Springs. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with leaders and innovators in health and human services (HHS) and showcase our solutions at booth 831. From insightful sessions to meaningful conversations on the expo floor, here are the experiences and lessons that stood out to us:
1. A Clear Call for Healthcare Modernization
One of the strongest themes throughout the conference was the need for modernization across state and local agencies. In the session “Digital Modernization: Lessons from the States,” it was clear that legacy systems are holding back progress, and leaders are looking for more flexible, cloud-based solutions that streamline operations. Having worked on modernization projects, I could relate to the challenges discussed. It was a pleasure to talk with booth visitors about how Monad Solutions supports these efforts, especially through our expertise with PeopleSoft resources.
2. Making Data Work for Health Outcomes
Data integration was another major focus at ISM 2024, and for good reason. During the session “Maximizing Medicaid Outcomes with Data and Analytics,” we saw just how much real-time access to data can transform decision-making in health services. Monad Solutions is committed to making this a reality for the agencies we partner with, ensuring they have the tools they need to make faster, more informed decisions. We had many conversations at our booth about how our data-driven solutions help improve outcomes for Medicaid and public health programs.

The discussions we had about eligibility determination, Medicaid modernization, and child care preparedness will undoubtedly shape our initiatives moving forward.
Our time at the ISM 2024 Conference was both inspiring and motivating.
